PureHT Description:
- Siser® renews its commitment to sustainability with PureHT™! This new heat transfer material features a 100% compostable film, breaking down in the ground within 180 days. Featuring a matte finish, this thin and lightweight material not only looks great but will have you (and the Earth) feeling great, too.
- Fully compostable film, decomposing in the ground without leaving toxic residue behind.
- Fully recyclable carrier, further reducing waste
- Same thinness as EasyWeed, leading to a soft and lightweight feel
- Many of the same benefits as EasyWeed, including being iron-friendly, hot-peel, layerable, CPSIA certified, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
- Applies at a lower heat temperature of 275°F/135°C resulting in less scorching as well as less electricity usage
- Nine earth tones all in a matte finish
- Certified compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI)
- Compliant with specifications established by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) D6400 standard.
Composting Details:
Composting is the process of decomposing biodegradable materials so it can be added to the soil without harming the surrounding environment. PureHT has been specially engineered to be fully compostable, breaking down in the dirt within 180 days. PureHT is found to be compliant with specifications established by the ASTM D6400 standard, meaning that this material can composted in municipal and industrial aerobic composting facilities.
